Alan Romano is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider with over five years of experience facilitating trauma-informed medicine work and more than three decades of personal exploration with entheogenic practices. His path to healing began through his own lived experience with trauma, chronic pain, and addiction. An initiatory journey that ultimately led him to the jungle medicines of Kambo, Ibogaine, Ayahuasca, and Bufo.

Alan completed a 12-day Kambo practitioner training, which included extensive self-administration, multiple purgative flood doses, and a rite of passage involving three consecutive Kambo ceremonies performed in partnership. This initiation deepened his respect for Kambo as a sacred ally in physical, emotional, and energetic cleansing.

Drawing from both Western clinical training and Indigenous-inspired ceremonial frameworks, Alan bridges science and spirituality through his original model, Functional Systems Regulation Theory (FSRT)—a systems-based approach that views the body’s symptoms as intelligent adaptations rather than disorders. His work integrates somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, and entheogenic preparation and integration.

Alan currently offers Kambo sessions as part of a holistic approach to nervous system recalibration, emotional detoxification, and spiritual realignment. His presence is described as grounded, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the body’s natural intelligence
