Here are the top 5 easy things you can do to grow your business using KamboFinder.

1. Get Reviews on Your Listing


Clients are more likely to feel comfortable booking with a professional who has reviews on their listing. You probably wouldn’t buy a laptop without reading some reviews first, so how could you expect a scared, kambo-naive client to do differently?

Collecting reviews from your clients should become an essential part of your routine. We recommend sending out automatic follow up emails asking for reviews on your KamboFinder listing with a link, and/or sending messages to clients with a direct link where they can leave a review after their session. You can even upload video testimonials to your listing if you have a Basic or Premium paid plan.

Here’s how to get the link to send to your clients to leave a review:
a. Make sure you are logged into your account
b. Go to your Dashboard>My listings
c. Click your listing to open it up in Kambofinder.
d. Copy the URL and send this to your clients as a link, informing them to click “Reviews” to leave a review.

2. Add Details to Your Listing

Fill out as much information on your listing as possible. Potential clients are searching for their perfect Kambo professional using advanced filters that select for certifications, experience levels, review ratings and keywords. Someone may type “fertility” into the search bar. A practitioner who has added a keyword tag to their profile as specializing in fertility support is more likely to be found and selected in this case.

Adding pictures, videos, website, logo and social media links can also boost your credibility. People seeking Kambo are usually looking to work with someone that they feel a connection to. Adding content that gives them a sense of who you are and what you are all about will help you attract the clients right for you.

Make sure you also fill out all contact information and your locations. You can choose multiple locations, including both city, state and country. If you’re operating out of Portland, Oregon, for example, you can select Oregon, Portland and the United States as 3 different locations. That way if someone searches by state or city, your listing will show up.

3. Share on your Website and Social Media

Good news! We’ve made some customizable templates and pre-made banners that allow you to easily share images presenting and requesting client reviews. You can use these either on your website or social media. Using these pre-made images makes it easy for your clients to read and leave reviews while increasing awareness of KamboFinder as a tool. Everybody wins! Use a basic, already made banner, or use one of our customizable templates to put your personal brand logo in the banner.

a. Select the image you wish you add to your website and right-click to “Save as”
b. Add the image to your website or upload to social media.
c. Go to your Dashboard> My Listings and open your listing.
d. Copy the URL and add the link to your image or post.

4. Create an Event

Anytime you have a scheduled group ceremony, practitioner training program or special event, be sure to add an event to let others know what’s happening in their area!

Events are featured at random on the home page, so it’s always possible that someone who was not even looking for anything, in particular, may discover your event just from the home page. 

To create an Event:
a. Go to your Dashboard
b. Select “Events” (calendar icon on mobile)
c. Select “Add new”

5. Write a Blog Post

KamboFinder is a collaborative hub for sharing information, experiences and opinions. Writing a blog post is a great way to contribute to community dialogue while establishing yourself as an authority in the Kambo space. Blog posts can be used to document case studies, discuss protocols and methods, and share opinion pieces. Authoring a blog post may help you gain the attention of new potential clients and referring practitioners.

Blog post privileges are available to those with Basic and Premium plans. All blog posts are approved by and may be subject to editing by Kambofinder.
